Description
I knitted various glass sponges (Venus' flower baskets) from Sagami-sea, and various tapeworms. They are the living things that Dr. Isao Ijima, one of
the founder of zoology and the father of aquariums in Japan, studied on.

日本の近代動物学の先駆者で水族館の父でもある飯島魁博士が研究した生き物(条虫類と相模湾産のガラス海綿)を編んで縫いつけたもの。

Description
In Japan, placenta was believed to protect us. If audience stand under the jellyfish, they will realize their mothers' placentas still protect them.

日本では昔、胎盤が生まれた後もその人を守ると信じられていた。観客はクラゲの下に入ると、今も胎盤に守られていることを実感できるであろう。

Self-fertilisation (Fish Tapeworm)
自家受精(日本海裂頭条虫)

Description
A fish tapeworm's body is made of 3000〜4000 proglottids (metameres). Each proglottid has both ovary and testis. It fertilize its own eggs exchanging its own sperms among nearby proglottids.

条虫の3000〜4000個ある体節の一つ一つが卵巣と精巣を持っており、1隻の条虫の接触した体節同士で精子を交換して卵を自家受精する様子。

Hokuto Vega, 90's Japanese legendary dirt queen, with famous fillies that was born in the same year as her. (and Hishi Amazon, the turf champion in Japan, one year younger than her)

日本の1990年代の伝説的ダート女王ホクトベガと同年生まれの日本と世界の有名な牝馬たち(と1歳下の芝の最強馬ヒシアマゾン)。

Stay Gold

Description
I painted Stay Gold, the best successor of Sunday Silence, in his racing days when S.Kumazawa rode on his back. He was not the champion horse, but many hor serace fans loved his unique character. Now he is the sire of Orfevre (the win ner of 2011 JRA classic triple crowns and Arima-kinen, Takarazuka Kinen, and t he runner-up of 2012 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. etc.) and some champion horses.

サンデーサイレンスの最良の後継種牡馬ステイゴールドに熊沢重文騎手が乗っていた頃 のレースを描いた。自身は最強馬とは言えなかったが、強い個性が多くの競馬ファンに 愛された。今はオルフェーヴル(2011年JRAクラシック3冠、有馬記念、宝塚記念優勝、 2012年凱旋門賞2着など)等の父である。

極端な逃げ切り勝ちを収め続けた特異な名馬であった。

Pegasus
ペガサス

Description
Pegasus, a Japanese racehorse, ran from 1992 to 1997 and lived in Fukushima after his race careers. In 2011, he was saved from the earthquake and the nuclear accident, and he went to Ibaraki. Then he came back to Fukushima and lived out his natural life span.

日本の競走馬ペガサスは1992年から1997年まで走り、引退して福島に住んでいた。2011年に大地震と原子力事故から救われて茨城に避難し、その後福島に戻って天寿を全うした。
