The meeting in 1939 which has been held.
2013
Tempera, oil on board
1,940 × 1,300 mm

Description
The famous German scientist Werner Heisenberg said “In the summer of 1939 twelve scientists might still have been able, by coming to mutual agreement, to prevent the construction of atom bombs” I paint with the theme of his words. Then I compare the 12 Scientists to the 12 Apostles, and the meeting had not been held to “The last Supper”.
In the Painting, there is no God and no the Apostles, There is only the table to wait for the holding of the conference.
We can say after experience of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima, we should take measures to our daily life. As of July 2013, we were forced to choose the very important thing. It is just like the first time to have involved in nuclear development.
